Presentation of AK

The Red and Black Alliance was established on 20 March 2012 by Kreshnik Spahiu (b. 1969), former head of the High Council of Albania (2007-2012). The party obtained 0.59% of the votes in the 2013 parliamentary election and did not contest in the 2017 parliamentary election.
The Red and Black Alliance defends an ultra-nationalist program, calling for the creation of Greater Albania. It requested a referendum on the union of Kosovo with Albania and the grant of an Albanian passport to all ethnic Albanians living in the neighboring countries.
